Abbie Cronin, M.A., L.C.P.C.
Psychotherapist
The most important thing I want potential clients to know is that I truly love working with people. My therapeutic style is rooted in mutual respect and understanding; believing that with a safe and nonjudgmental environment, a more satisfying life can be achieved. With compassion, understanding and humor, we address thought patterns, emotions, and behaviors to promote meaningful growth. I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, life transitions, grief and couples.
Psychotherapy is a delicate balance of science and art. It is this balance that helps patients feel safe to share and explore their experiences. I integrate a strength based treatment style to motivate clients in making the changes they desire. My style is holistic: integrating psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, humanistic, mindfulness and Adlerian modalities.

Additional Projects
I work alongside pediatricians and primary care physicians to provide patients with integrated care, a highly effective treatment plan which allows both behavioral and physical health needs to be discussed and addressed. This coordinated approach is most successful when this multifaceted relationship is allowed to develop alongside the patient as they progress through life.
This project has been ongoing passion of mine and has assisted children with chronic issues such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, learning disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Disorder in securing services in high schools and being placed into universities and colleges that offer supportive services to ensure their continuing success. Training and consultation is available to professionals interested in being a part of a team.
